Data Protection Act 2018: How We Use Pupil Information

General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

Safety of our pupil information is very important to us. Privacy notices are available online. These documents outline what information we hold, why this is collected, the lawful basis on which it is used, how we collect and store it, who we share it with and why we share certain information.

Pupil records will be held until a pupil changes school and will remain in their final school until the age of 25, after which they are securely destroyed.

Whilst the majority of pupil information provided is mandatory, some is voluntary. This will be made clear at the time of collecting information. Where consent is required to process data you have the right to withdraw consent at any time.

Parents and pupils have the right to request access to information held about them. Our privacy notice provides information on how to do this.
