Admissions

Admissions, Criteria for Admission and Denomination Criteria

Our standard number of admissions for each year is 60.

We currently have spaces in Year 1 and Year 2 at the Infant School and Year 5 and 6 at the Junior School.

Admissions for Polehampton C. of E. Infant & Junior Schools are controlled by The Keys Academy and Wokingham Borough Council who co-ordinate the admission process.

In-year admissions are managed by Wokingham Borough Council. For further information please click here

To see the most up-to-date information about admissions, please look at  the Wokingham Website.

The catchment/designated area for the school is the Twyford and Ruscombe, plus Charvil - see map below.

The vast majority of pupils move from our Infant to our Junior School, although attendance at the Infants does not guarantee a place at the Juniors. A separate application will need to be made.

Whilst we take children from different faith backgrounds and families who have no faith, as a Church of England school we consider that parents should be in sympathy with the Christian ethos in which their child's education will take place.

  • Please note - being a member of a local church is not part of our admissions criteria.

Below is the  Admissions Policy for 2025 - 26 determined by The Admissions Authority, (The Keys Academy Trust), for Polehampton Infants and Juniors.  If you wish to raise any objections please contact the Office of the Schools Adjudicator no later than 15 May 2024.
