After School Club:
The ASC aims to provide reliable, quality, fun, active and affordable childcare in a safe, healthy and enjoyable environment for children aged between 4-11 years and is located in the old library at the Polehampton Junior School.
The ASC is Ofsted registered and is open from 3.20 - 6.00pm, Monday to Friday in term time for children from both the infant and junior schools. Polehampton infant children are walked over to the junior school by playworkers on a ratio of 1:8.
On arrival children are offered a light snack from a range of healthy food including sandwiches, wraps, crackers, various fillings, fresh fruit and vegetables.
The club follows the playwork principle that play is freely chosen so children are encouraged to play outside but also have a choice from a range of activities including: crafts, cookery, gardening, classic board games, Pool table, lego, reading, music, homework, Nintendo wii, football, tennis, badminton, pop up tents, den building and we also have full use of the adventure playground.
Places can be booked by completion of a registration form, on a regular basis £10.00 or casual £10.50. The club accepts payment by cash, BACS, tax free childcare or childcare vouchers.
Regular session fees are invoiced and payable half-termly (in advance) and casual bookings must be paid for in advance or on the day of the session.
